Arena Rules

Silver Creek management is providing the following set of rules to ensure the safest environment possible. We want everyone to enjoy our facility, however, safety is our number one priority. You will be expected to know and follow these rules at all times.

By signing this form below you are agreeing to accept and abide by the following rules.

1. Always leave gates and doors as you find them. Gates and doors are to keep things in, and, to keep things out. A good rule of thumb is to leave everything exactly as you find it. No one should be in the stalls or lots with loose livestock.
2. Do not feed any horse anything with out asking permission. Horses are fed on a set schedule. Anything other than horse food can make a horse very sick. (Candy bars, hotdogs, gum, etcetera, are not horse foods.)
3. Never approach or pet any horse without asking permission or having instructor supervision. A horse has teeth and may bite; a horse has back legs and may kick.
4. You should never tie a horse without instructor supervision. Horses must be tied properly in designated areas only and must never be tied with bridle reins.
5. There will be no running or playing around the area where the horses are tied.
6. No one is allowed in the wash rack area without instructor supervision. This is a very busy work area and requires uninterrupted concentration.
7. Dispose of your own trash in proper trash containers.
8. The speed limit around the arena property for any motorized vehicle is 5 mph and will be strictly enforced.
9. All persons are politely asked to exhibit acceptable behavior at all times. Anyone or any group that exhibits un-acceptable behavior will be required to leave.
10. Silver Creek welcomes all visitors and you may bring guests, however, you are responsible for teaching your guests these arena rules and supervising them. Also, invite your guests to sign the guest register located in the concession stand.
